Create a Quiz

PRINCIPLE

A ** Quiz ** is an activity made up of a ** series of questions ** to assess the participant's knowledge or promote the acquisition of knowledge in a fun and active way. Several types of questions are available for the ** Quiz **:

CREATION OF THE QUIZ

** The moderator creates his "Quiz" activity in the library: **

He clicks on the ** Create ** button in the ** My folders ** tab.
He selects the "Quiz" activity
He assigns a name to his activity
He can optionally tag it and add a description to it.
He clicks on ** Create **

The moderator then defines the ** parameters ** of the quiz and creates the ** questions ** that compose it.

SETTING A Quiz has various common parameters to define. They can be modified at any time, whether it is upstream of the creation of the questions or even after dissemination of the activity to the learners:

** Pass mark **: _by default set at 50% _
** Defined or random order **: the different questions of the Quiz are presented to participants in the defined order or randomly. _At creation, the Quiz questions are presented by default

Single-choice and multiple-choice questions

PRINCIPLE

By choosing this type of question, single-choice or multiple-choice questions, the author has a wide choice of tools to modulate and refine his expectations on the participant side:

time limit
number of points assigned to the question
answer required
weighting of points on the proposals
import an image, a gif, a video or an external link to illustrate the question

The question has up to 25 possible answers.

For his part, the participant selects one or more proposals from the list presented and, depending on the author's settings, has a comment box to give his opinion.

QUESTION PARAMETERS

By default, the name is set to QCM but the option to switch to QCU depends on the maximum number of responses allowed

In the participant report relating to the quiz, the results by topic are presented. _ (For example: on a course on the automobile, we can associate the questions with the themes of bodywork, engine, interior, etc.) _
** Statement**: Enter the statement of the question as it will be presented to the participants.
** Time limit**: define in seconds the response time given to the learner for the question. By default, this parameter is set to 0, so there is no time limit .
** Points**: adjust the number of points awarded if the question is answered correctly.

PRINCIPLE

Unlike the other quiz questions, the "Free Answer" leaves a free field for the participant to enter his answer. The latter will be analyzed and noted by the moderator upon submission of the response by the participant. Unlike the question "Fill in a field", in the "Free answer" there are no predefined answers for automatic correction by the system.

Create a Document activity

|| This activity allows participants to consult any type of documentary resource (textual document, video, audio, image, etc.) at their own pace with the possibility of downloading them.

CREATION

** The moderator creates his "Document" activity in the library: **

He clicks on the _Create _ button in the My Folders tab.
He selects the "Document" activity
He assigns a name to his activity
He can optionally tag it and add a description to it.
He clicks on Create

** Once the activity has been created, he can then: **

Add the desired documentary resource by clicking on the Add a document button
Drag and drop the documentary resource file into the window provided for this purpose
Activate or not the possibility of downloading the file by the participants
Click on Save

The moderator then integrates his activity into a session or launches it directly from the library.

||| The accepted file formats are: PDF, Word, Excel, PPT, PNG, GIF, JPG, MP3 and MP4). The size of the deposited file must not exceed 20MB.

PARTICIPANT SIDE

When the "Document" activity is broadcast, participants view the proposed document either through a pdf reader, or through a video or audio player depending on the type of media.

Step 1: Prepare a session

Once the moderator has his MOBITEACH room, to prepare a session he will have to:

create activities and manage them in his library
prepare access to the room and register participants
prepare his training session with the planned activities and participants

CREATE ACTIVITIES

To create activities, the moderator goes to the ** Library ** area. By clicking on the ** + Create ** button, the different activities that can be created are displayed:

Creating a MOBITEACH activity

MANAGE LIBRARY

Folders can be created in the library to categorize activities. To create a folder, the moderator clicks the ** + Create ** button, then selects ** Folder ** and provides the information about this folder: Name, optionally tags and description.
